Description: Planners and Landscape Architects for this mixed-use redevelopment on the Saugatuck River including residential, retail, and office components, along with public waterfront access. Planning services included creating a new zoning regulation to allow for residential units (market and affordable) within a declining central business district. Integrating smart growth principals for revitalization and sustainability, this hugely successful project has spurred redevelopment of the entire vicinity.
